Judd Trump was at his brilliant best on Friday as he conjured up a thrilling display of attacking snooker to reach the semi-finals of the UK Championship. The world No 1 made light work of Zhang Anda, who had hit a 147 break earlier in the tournament at the Barbican in York. Trump started with a break of 89 to win the first frame in under 10 minutes. He continued the hot streak with exhilarating breaks of 126, 120 and 131 to take a 4-0 lead at the interval.
