Patrick Mahomes 'in talks with the WNBA over launching new franchise in Kansas City'
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are in talks over bringing a WNBA team to Kansas City, according to reports. The Chiefs quarterback is already part of the ownership group of the Royals (MLB) Sporting Kansas City (MLS), the Kansas City Current (NWSL) and an investor in the Alpine Formula One team. Now, ESPN reports, the WNBA is in talks with Mahomes - and other Current executives - regarding a new franchise in the city.
