The 'mastermind' of an armed theft that left one police officer lifeless and one other critically injured prevented arrest for almost 20 years, a jury has been advised.
Police constable Sharon Beshenivsky was killed on November 18, 2005, as she and a colleague responded to a report of a robbery at a travel brokers in West Yorkshire.
