NFL set to play first ever regular-season game in new European country next year
The NFL has announced it is heading to Ireland for the very first time next season. After previously hosting pre-season fixtures in the country, the league now plans to stage a regular-season game there at some point in the 2025 campaign. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be the home team when that fixture takes place in Dublin, the Irish capital. It will be held at Croke Park, the largest sporting arena in Ireland, in partnership with the Irish government and Dublin City Council.
