Three-time cycling world champion Oscar Freire has asked for privacy after being found, 48 hours after being reported missing by members of his family. Freire, 48, was reported to have gone missing by relatives on Monday in Spain's northern region of Cantabria. The former cyclist was said to have left their family home in Torrelavega without his belongings, including his mobile phone, keys and bank cards. His car was later discovered but showed no trace of the former world champion.
