Conor McGregor used racial slurs in a now-deleted furious tirade on social media aimed at rival Khabib Nurmagomedov. The pair have a long-standing rivalry, with Nurmagomedov having beaten McGregor at UFC 229 in 2018. Last weekend Derry MMA star Paul Hughes clashed with Nurmagomedov's cousin Usman at a world title fight in Dubai. McGregor was left angry that Hughes distanced himself from him after the clash. Following that, McGregor targeted Hughes regarding his Irish identity.
