Mason Mount has told Manchester United fans he plans to make an 'impact' next season, after a disappointing start to life at Old Trafford. He joined United from Chelsea in a £60million transfer last summer, in a deal that runs to the summer of 2028. But a slew of injuries throughout the 2023-24 campaign have prevented Mount from living up to the hype that surrounded his transfer. He missed four months of last season, making just 14 league appearances – many of which came from the bench – and rarely playing more than 45 minutes a time.
